I have a refurbished Craftsman model 875.191182 pneumatic impact gun for sale. This gun has been rebuilt from the inside out with new gaskets and seals. I have pictures of the disassembly and cleaning of the internals.
These impact guns were designed for low cost and higher air efficiency at a cost of some power. This impact gun is only rated at 230 ft.lbs, but I widened the air inlet holes while it was disassembled to give it more torque output. I bench tested this gun at around 350 ft.lbs in reverse and around 300 ft.lbs in the highest forward setting. It was a bit undersold on performance when these guns were first advertised from Sears and they could have been much better.
Great for loosening stuck or rusted bolts, will take lug nuts off of most cars with ease. Very light weight also.
